Nazan focuses her time on strategy and brand innovation for clients pursuing heart- and mind-share in the new communications era of engagement. She oversees the firm’s public relations and marketing work and helps clients grow their networks of advantage to deliver on their brand promise in innovative ways.
She has a wealth of experience to draw from her career at two of the largest global public relations agencies: Burson-Marsteller and Fleishman-Hillard. While at Burson-Marsteller in Washington, D.C., Nazan worked on investment promotion and economic development programs funded by The World Bank and USAID. At Fleishman-Hillard, she worked to promote start-up companies building brands in the technology space. In the 1990s, she spent several years in Africa, Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia and other countries with economies in transition managing communications campaigns to promote privatization and capital market development. In 1998, as co-founder of an international trade consultancy, Nazan organized the first-ever U.S.-Cuba Business Summit in Havana and since then continues to organize licensed trips to Cuba for U.S. business executives.
Nazan is an active member of Urban Land Institute Los Angeles, Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Central City Association of Los Angeles. She also served on the Board of Directors for Genesis LA, an organization dedicated to bringing financial and economic solutions to LA’s underserved communities. Nazan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor degree in Philosophy from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
